Booking & Payment
To book a project, complete the booking form on our website and submit full payment via Stripe or PayPal. Work will not begin until payment has been received and confirmed.
- Full payment upfront — 100% of the service fee, including any selected add-ons, is due at the time of booking. No deposit-based arrangements are offered.
- Add-ons — all add-ons should be selected during the original booking. If you need to add a service after payment has been completed, contact us at info@jaedee.com. Additional add-ons may be accommodated at our discretion and will be invoiced separately before work on that addition begins. This is not guaranteed and depends on the stage of the project.
- Multi-track projects — for EPs, albums, and other multi-track bookings, the full project payment is binding once work has begun. No partial refunds are issued for tracks not submitted within an active multi-track booking. If you are unsure about committing to a full project, we recommend booking a single track first to experience the workflow before expanding your order.
- Currency — all transactions are processed in USD.
- Payment processors — we accept Stripe and PayPal. By paying, you agree to their respective terms of service.
- Transaction fees — payment processor fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, including in the event of a refund.
- VAT & taxes — prices may be subject to applicable local taxes. Any taxes already incurred are non-refundable.
Free Sample
We offer a free sample service so potential clients can hear the sonic direction before booking a full paid project. The following conditions apply:
- What you receive — a 30-second watermarked audio preview, delivered by email. This is a directional sample only and does not represent a fully finished mix or master.
- File requirements — for a mastering sample, submit one stereo WAV or AIFF file. For a mixing or mixing & mastering sample, submit up to 5 key stems as 24-bit WAV files.
- One per artist or project — free samples are limited to one per artist or project. Requesting multiple samples for the same project under different names or email addresses is not permitted.
- No guaranteed turnaround — free samples are processed between paid client sessions. No specific turnaround time is guaranteed.
- No commitment — receiving a free sample does not obligate either party to proceed with a paid booking.
File Submission Requirements
All files must be prepared and submitted according to our guidelines before the project starts. Please refer to the file preparation guide on our website.
- Format — export all audio files as 24-bit WAV or AIFF at your session’s original sample rate (44.1 kHz or higher). MP3 is accepted if that is all you have, but WAV or AIFF is strongly recommended for the best result.
- Headroom — leave 3–6 dB of headroom on the mix bus. Remove any limiters or mix-bus compression that is not part of the creative intent. Keep creative effects such as reverb, delay, and sound design in place.
- File naming — name all files clearly using the stem name first, followed by the song title, for example: LeadVocal_SongTitle.wav, Kick_SongTitle.wav. Avoid generic names such as Audio_01.wav.
- Session alignment — all stems must start from the same point in the session.
- STEM Mastering — stems must be properly grouped and represent a completed or near-completed mix. See Section 1 for full requirements.
- Responsibility — you are solely responsible for submitting correctly prepared files. Incorrect, incomplete, corrupted, or improperly formatted files may affect delivery times and the quality of results. Turnaround time does not begin, or may be paused, until all required files are complete, usable, and correctly submitted. If files need to be replaced after the project has started, the timeline may shift accordingly.
Turnaround Times
Turnaround times are calculated in business days (Monday–Friday, excluding Swedish public holidays) and begin once full payment has been confirmed and all required files have been received in the correct format.
- Mixing — 5–7 business days
- Mastering — 1–3 business days
- Mixing & Mastering — 7–10 business days
- STEM Mastering — 5–7 business days
Revisions
Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds as stated below. Revision rounds are counted per track, not per project. A revision round consists of one set of consolidated feedback submitted at the same time — not individual, ongoing changes across multiple messages.
- Mixing — 2 revision rounds per track
- Mastering — 2 revision rounds per track
- Mixing & Mastering — 3 revision rounds per track
- STEM Mastering — 2 revision rounds per track
- Revision response window — once a delivery is sent, you have 14 calendar days to approve the delivery or submit one consolidated revision request. If no valid revision request is received within 14 calendar days, the delivery is considered approved and the project may be marked as completed.
- Revision scope — revisions cover reasonable adjustments to levels, EQ, dynamics, balance, and processing based on your feedback. They do not cover structural arrangement changes, new recordings, new stems, stem replacements, new mix submissions, or a completely new creative direction after work has started.
- Additional revisions — extra revision rounds beyond those included are available at the following rates, payable before the revision begins: $25 per round for Mastering, $35 per round for STEM Mastering, $45 per round for Mixing, $55 per round for Mixing & Mastering.
- New mix submissions — submitting a new or significantly altered mix after work has begun may be treated as a new project and charged accordingly.
- Unused revisions — once you approve the final delivery, no further free revisions are available, even if unused rounds remain.
Delivery & Final Files
Upon completion, your final files will be delivered via a secure download link sent to your registered email address.
- File format — final deliverables are provided as 24-bit WAV at the original sample rate, plus a 320kbps MP3.
- Mixing includes — final stereo mix (WAV & MP3), Instrumental mix, and TV Track (Singback).
- Mastering includes — mastered stereo WAV & MP3.
- Mixing & Mastering includes — mastered stereo WAV & MP3, Instrumental mix, and TV Track (Singback).
- STEM Mastering includes — mastered stereo WAV & MP3.
- Not included — DAW project files, session files, plugin presets, processing chains, templates, internal notes, or individual stems, unless explicitly selected as an add-on, separately agreed in writing, and paid for before that additional work begins.
- Download link expiry — download links expire after 30 days. It is your responsibility to download and save your files before the link expires.
- Project approval — a project is considered approved and completed when you confirm approval, download or use the final files, submit no valid revision request within 14 calendar days after delivery, or the included revision rounds have been completed. Final delivery does not require separate written approval from the client.
- Client review before release — you are responsible for reviewing and approving all final files before distribution, upload, manufacturing, broadcast, public release, or other commercial use.
Alternate Mixes
Alternate Mixes are additional versions of your track prepared for different use cases. The following versions are available:
- Instrumental — a full mix with all vocals removed
- TV Track (Singback) — a full mix with only the lead vocal removed; backing vocals remain
| Service | Alternate Mix Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Mixing | Included | Instrumental & TV Track included as standard |
| Mastering | $20 per version | Client must submit separate pre-mastered files per version |
| Mixing & Mastering | Included | Instrumental & TV Track included as standard |
| STEM Mastering | $15 per version | Created directly from your submitted stems |
Refund Policy & Cancellation
We do not offer refunds based on subjective dissatisfaction after the included revision rounds have been exhausted, or where the client has changed creative direction mid-project.
This does not affect any statutory rights the client may have if the service is faulty, materially different from what was agreed, or not delivered as described.
↑ Back to topProject Abandonment
To keep our workflow running smoothly, the following conditions apply to project inactivity:
- File submission window — after payment is confirmed, files must be submitted within 30 days. If no files are received within 30 days, the project slot will be released and the booking closed without refund.
- Client non-response — if a project is delivered and the client does not respond within 14 calendar days, the delivery is considered approved and the project may be closed. See Section 6 for revision response windows.
- Abandoned projects — projects closed due to non-submission or non-response are not eligible for refunds. If you need additional time, contact us at info@jaedee.com before the relevant window expires.
Confidentiality
We understand that clients often submit unreleased material. We take confidentiality seriously and handle all submitted files with professional discretion.
- Non-disclosure — we will not share, distribute, sell, stream, upload, or otherwise disclose any submitted audio files or project details to any third party without your explicit written consent.
- Reasonable measures — we take reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your files. However, we cannot guarantee absolute confidentiality in the event of circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as data breaches, outages, or security incidents involving third-party storage, transfer, email, payment, or project management services.
- Portfolio use — we reserve the right to use short excerpts of completed, publicly released work (for example, before/after comparisons) for promotional purposes, unless you request otherwise in writing before the project begins. We will not use unreleased material for promotional purposes without explicit written permission.
- Third-party services — files may be transferred, stored, processed, or delivered using reputable third-party cloud storage, email, file transfer, payment, analytics, or project management services where reasonably necessary to provide the service.
- Internal access — submitted files may be accessed only by Jaedee for the purpose of completing your project.
- Proprietary methods — our mixing and mastering techniques, processing chains, plugin settings, signal chains, presets, templates, session structures, internal notes, and production methods are proprietary and confidential. These belong exclusively to Jaedee and are not disclosed, transferred, or accessible to the client as part of any delivery or booking.

Jaedee accepts no liability in this regard.
- Our work — the mixing, mastering, and audio engineering performed by Jaedee is delivered as a work-for-hire service. We claim no ownership, royalty entitlement, or rights over the finished recordings.

File Storage & Backup
We aim to retain project files for up to 6 months after the final delivery date. After this period, files may be permanently deleted without notice.
We may delete rejected, replaced, duplicate, incomplete, corrupted, or unnecessary working files earlier as part of normal project management.
We are not obligated to re-deliver files after a project has been marked as completed and files have been downloaded.
